I awakened in the night hearing the Lord speak to me over and over about He’s the God ofâ€¦ The thing that brought this up was the Foreword that Dennis Goldsworth-Davis wrote for us to add to Janiece’s biography, “Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life – Tell My People I Love Them! – The Janiece Turner-Hartmann Story” written by yours truly. Overcoming The Darkness Within & Depression

Overcoming depression can seem like a hopeless situation, especially when one feels like they are falling down into a deep dark chasm from which there seems to be no escape, let alone hope. Many in the medical community will say that medical treatment is the only way for help, to which I declare not necessarily so. I’ve walked within the clutches of depression during various times within my life, and my wife, Janiece, almost lost her life to its deadly stranglehold. I am speaking from experience and not some textbook theories and studies that many may hold up as truth, but in the end may do more harm than good. (Please note: I am not saying that some of these methods do not help some to some extent and even serve to provide some hope and prolong life.) There are many ‘catch phrases’ in our world thrown out by some to try and control the masses. In my opinion, “Political Correctness” is one that has nothing to do with the truth, but rather is a way to sway people to a certain way of thinking and acting. It institutes fear and rather than standing up and denouncing it, people succumb to the fear. Then we hear the word “Terrorist” used to describe groups that are not. The throwing around of these little ‘catch phrases’ is being used for a lower purpose, branding and labeling.Â They talk about profiling and yet they are the ones doing it.
