A Jigsaw Life

Sometimes our lives are like a jigsaw puzzle. We collect a lot of the same kind of pieces from one area of the puzzle and start to put them together. Sometimes we begin to identify with this little area thinking this is who we are and what we’re to do with our lives, but then the Lord takes us on to another area and we grow in it. Sometimes we let go of the former and begin to think, “This must be who I am.” Then we are shown another area and then perhaps another area and sometimes we can get confused as we journey on and think that perhaps, somehow we missed it.  Read more

The God Of…

I awakened in the night hearing the Lord speak to me over and over about He’s the God of… The thing that brought this up was the Foreword that Dennis Goldsworth-Davis wrote for us to add to Janiece’s biography, “Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life – Tell My People I Love Them! – The Janiece Turner-Hartmann Story” written by yours truly. In the last paragraph he writes, “Who knows what miracles are awaiting all whose hearts are open to the potential of the God of Janiece. He is your God too!” So, I’m hearing this going over and over in my spirit as the times goes by. The God Of… Read more

Who I Am

Who I am. Who am I? Who are you? Why are we here? When I think of these questions I think back to when I heard a song by Supertramp called, “The Logical Song.” One of the main lines of the song is, “Can someone please, just tell me who I am?” If you’ve never heard of it, you can google it to find a site to listen to it. The album came out in 1979 and we still ask the same questions today. Who am I? I bought the album as soon as I could and would cruise up and down the streets in my home town at night just listening to it. It was just me, the music and the wind blowing through my open windows in the cool night air. This was the question on my mind during my teenage years, “Who am I?” Why do we do the things we do? Why do we have to conform to these worldly standards? We don’t have to conform, there is a better way. Throughout all of history, good changes come when people dare to stand up with a better way. Before we can do that, we must find a better way. Who I am! Read more

Helping Those Who Need Help

We have ministered in 8 public meetings here in Colorado Springs since May with our JOURNEY TO HOPE! public meetings and have another one at 7pm this Friday, August 23, at Wellsprings Worship Center. We have listened to feedback from those who have attended the meetings and have produced a 7 DVD series called JOURNEY TO HOPE! in response to their comments and concerns. The main resounding comments we are hearing are concerning mainly churches. Read more

JOURNEY TO HOPE!

After two weeks of filming and editing, we have now produced the JOURNEY TO HOPE! 7 DVD Series with Janiece Turner-Hartmann. We published her biography, SENTENCED TO DEATH, DESTINED FOR LIFE! in July 2011. The biography gives certain details about her life and documents her journey through some of the greatest miracles in our generation. In the JOURNEY TO HOPE! DVD Series, Janiece identifies with 7 major struggles in her life, relates to each one and shares how she made it through victoriously. This series was designed to help individuals identify with and overcome in these areas in their lives. It also helps others to identify with people who are going through some of these struggles in their life and perhaps gain some understanding in order to be able to help and encourage them along the way. On The Other Side

Everyone wants to get to the other side, where the good things are. There must be more to this life than this. This isn’t what I signed up to do. I can remember my first day in the military. I thought, “This is not why I signed up. This isn’t how they said it would be.” Discipline and training doesn’t just come to us naturally. It would be nice if we were born with all of those attributes, but in reality, we are born with all the attributes of sin. What a mess? How do we get On The Other Side? Read more

Hopelessness

As I consider the title of this post, my heart is heavy. Perhaps, because of the focus of our outreach ministry, we hear this more than most, yet it is so prevalent in our society. Hopelessness can lead to a very bad situation, suicide. Why do people consider suicide? Janiece and I started our “THERE IS HOPE!” tour in May 2013. We are determined to bring hope to as many as we can and counter HOPELESSNESS… Read more

Hurting People

As I read the comments sent personally to me from people all over the world, I realize more and more how many are hurting, broken and torn. Our world is going through so many changes as we go from individual economies to a world economy. Everything is changing and it is causing so much fear and panic. This fear and panic is ripping into the core of families and relationships and causing many casualties emotionally. Where do we turn? Who has the answers? Who really cares? Is it every person for themselves? Hurting People! Read more

Dispossessing Fear

There is a  lot of talk in the world and even in religious circles about fear and there should be, it is real and affects all of our lives. I have seen T-shirts and bumper stickers everywhere that say, “No Fear!” and when I do, I am very skeptical that those people don’t see the true depth or reality of fear. Everyone has a little bit of fear in their lives and some have so much they can’t even cope with everyday life. Fear! DISPOSSESSING FEAR! Read more

Life Of Balance

The pendulum swings from one side to the other, from extreme to extreme. Only in the middle of its journey is the balance. The clock, with its pendulum, is sometimes representative of our lives. It can also represent an action against us with a counter reaction from us. The balance of this lies in our response to the action against us and not to simply to react to someone else. Response Versus Reaction! LIFE OF BALANCE! Read more
