It was easy last night to write and post about having a goal of 100,000 books distributed by Christmas on my facebook page. After I wrote it, I thought, “Oh no, what did I do?” I think that a lot after I hit the “return” button. I am so grateful for our friends, who keep encouraging us to keep on because they are encouraged by what we share. At 3 something this morning that number came back to me, but this time it was for 100,000 people by Christmas. I know this is a small number in comparison to the many and you will understand what I mean if you continue on reading…
THE GOD OF JANIECE!
Each year, the Christmas season is very difficult for a lot of people. This season has the highest rate of suicides for the whole year. That 100,000 are those we need to reach by Christmas so that they and their families can share next year with each other. I don’t want to hear about another suicide. I want to hear the good reports about another one saved and healed. As I lay in bed not able to go back to sleep, I started seeing faces in different places around the world. Faces of those, who right now, have a death certificate prepared for them unless someone intervenes. They’ve already made the choice to not go through another Christmas feeling like they have in the past, total utter hopelessness. Somewhere deep inside they are thinking, ‘This has to change because I can’t make it through this time if it doesn’t.’
Face after face and cry after cry is what I keep seeing and hearing, day after day, since I shared about the movie on July 14. Around 3 something the morning of August 11th, I kept seeing the following vision over and over again. Please read the whole thing before you judge it. It is not what it seems at first.
I saw myself in front of a group of people. In one hand I had the Bible and in the other I had Janiece’s biography, “Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life.” I was so passionate about what I was sharing that it took me by surprise. I held up the Bible and shared, “This book is a history book to many because it contains stories that happened 2000+ years ago…” I held up SDDL and placed it with the Bible and said, “The Bible doesn’t come to life until you have a story like this. This story proves that the Bible is timeless. The God in this old Book of books is still the same God we have today. Here is the proof.”
“The God of Janiece,” is how Dennis Goldsworthy-Davis penned it in his foreword for the book. I didn’t understand totally what he meant at the time, but in these last few days it is becoming crystal clear. He is the same God to her as God was to Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob, to David, to Peter, to Paul, to John, etc. He is the Miraculous.
Each one of us is a living book, whose pages others read on a daily basis. Some of us have chosen to also share our story in print where countless others can also read it. No one can claim that they were the one who healed Janiece. The Lord did it so sovereignly, there is no doubt. He gets the glory. Our books, our testimonies are what brings the Bible to life to all of those around us. It is only a history book until we meet the One Who wrote it, face to face.
So, after having written all of the above, we will go and share with all we can the HOPE that they so desperately need. We have the book, the websites, and we will personally minister and pray for all we can. 100,000 by Christmas? Somehow now, that number seems way too small. HOPE for the hopeless. HEALING for the broken and wounded. MIRACLES for those who need them… This is our mission! If you’d like to help please share the story with others. We also need some help in other ways. If you know of people in key places and the media, please share it with them so it can reach beyond us. It does no good if it stays in our hands. Let’s share our lives with those He wants us to reach, every day, every moment counts!
